Your law firm could have its own Claude plugin. Here is what it would do.

Claude now runs books and chases invoices for small businesses — but not for law firms. We build the missing version: one that knows your matters, drafts your routine work, and sends nothing without a lawyer’s OK.

Anthropic — the company behind Claude, one of the leading AI assistants — now offers a plugin for small businesses. Install it, and Claude closes your books, chases unpaid invoices, answers new leads at any hour, and sends the owner a Monday-morning summary of the whole business. It is built for coffee roasters and online shops. Law firms were left out: it speaks QuickBooks and Shopify, not Clio and NetDocuments, and Anthropic files “Legal” under its big enterprise customers. That is the gap we fill. We build law firms their own Claude plugin.

01A plugin, in plain terms

A plugin is an add-on package that teaches Claude how your firm works — your matters, your templates, your routines. Think of it as onboarding a brilliant new assistant: you explain once how intake works, what a good letter looks like, which reports the managing partner wants — and from then on, it just does it. The same way, every time.

02What your firm’s plugin would do

  • Answer new enquiries instantly, at any hour — a draft reply in your tone, offering real times to talk. Nothing is sent until you approve it.
  • Hand you a Monday brief: every matter, what moved last week, what is due, what is aging.
  • Turn your time entries into billing narratives clients actually understand.
  • Draft first versions of routine letters from your own templates and past work — you edit and sign, as always.
  • Watch deadlines and nudge the right person. The date arithmetic is done by ordinary software, never by the AI, so it can be trusted.
  • Chase unpaid bills — politely, persistently, on your schedule, so you never make that call again.

03What never changes

Nothing leaves the firm without a lawyer’s OK. That is how we build it, and it is also what your professional duties around confidentiality and supervision already require. Claude starts by reading only — summaries and drafts that stop at your desk. Sending, filing, anything touching client funds: a human signs for it, always.

04How we build it with you

First, a safety check: what Claude may and may not see, so client confidentiality is airtight — most firms also discover staff are already using AI tools nobody approved, and we find and fix that. Then we build small: your plugin starts read-only — it can look, not send — and proves itself with summaries and drafts. Every few weeks it earns another job, always behind your approval. You are not buying a system you have to trust on day one; you are training a very good one.

Anthropic says most businesses using its plugin have fewer than ten people — many are just one. That describes most law firms. You went to law school to practice law, not to chase invoices at 11pm. The work you trained for stays yours; the routine around it becomes Claude’s. That is the deal, and we build it.
